Finding & Booking Vendors

Search, compare, and connect with photographers, DJs, caterers, florists, planners, and venues using AI-powered matching tailored to your specific event.

Using AI Vendor Matching

AI Vendor Matching is available on all plans, including the free Customer account. It's the fastest way to find vendors perfectly matched to your event.

    Open the marketplace

    From your customer dashboard, click 'Find Vendors' or navigate to the Marketplace tab.

    Enter your event details

    Input your event type, date, location, guest count, budget range, and any style preferences. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the matching.

    Review your top 5 matches

    Trunnion AI scores and ranks vendors across your required categories. Each recommendation includes a match score, reasoning, highlights, and best package match.

  • 4

    Compare vendors side by side

    Click 'Compare' on any 2–4 vendors to see a detailed AI-generated side-by-side analysis covering pricing, style, availability, and reviews.

💡 Tip

AI matching considers your full event context — not just category and budget. A vendor who has shot 50 outdoor ceremonies scores higher for your outdoor ceremony than a vendor with the same average rating who primarily does studio work.

Browsing the Marketplace Directory

    Filter by category

    Use the category filter to narrow to photographers, DJs, caterers, florists, venues, or any of the 15+ available categories.

  • 2

    Filter by location & radius

    Set your event location and a search radius to see vendors who serve your area.

  • 3

    Filter by price range

    Set a budget range to filter vendors by their starting prices.

  • 4

    Save favorites

    Click the heart icon on any vendor profile to save them to your Favorites list for easy comparison later.

Contacting and Booking Vendors

    View vendor profile

    Click any vendor card to view their full profile: portfolio, packages, pricing, reviews, and availability.

  • 2

    Send an inquiry

    Click 'Contact Vendor' or 'Request a Booking' on their profile to send an inquiry through the platform.

  • 3

    Receive and review their proposal

    The vendor will respond with a proposal through the platform. You'll receive a notification when it arrives.

  • 4

    Sign contract and pay

    Accept the proposal, sign the e-signature contract, and pay your deposit through the secure Stripe checkout.

All contracts, payments, and communications through the Zennvue platform are logged and protected. We recommend keeping all vendor communication within the platform for your protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Trunnion AI scores vendors on a multi-dimensional match system considering: your event type, date availability, location overlap with their service areas, budget compatibility, portfolio style alignment, review sentiment, and responsiveness. The top 5 recommendations are the highest-scoring matches for your specific event.
The marketplace and AI matching only includes verified Zennvue vendors. However, if you're already working with a vendor outside Zennvue, you can still use the customer portal to manage your event planning, guest lists, budget, and seating.
Expand your search radius or check the 'Available for Travel' filter on vendor profiles. Many photographers and DJs regularly travel for events and will work outside their primary location.
