Common questions about switching.

No. Every major platform (HoneyBook, Dubsado, 17hats, Studio Ninja, Bloom, Tave, Pixieset) supports CSV export of your full client database including contact details, project status, deposit history, and contract status. Zennvue's CSV importer auto-maps these fields. The one thing that doesn't transfer cleanly is custom contract templates, which need to be recreated, but we provide wedding-native templates that are usually a closer starting point than what you had.
Already-signed contracts stay legally binding wherever they were signed. We recommend running both platforms in parallel for active client work and only migrating new inquiries to Zennvue at first. Once your full pipeline lives in Zennvue (typically 30 to 60 days), you can cancel your old platform.
Solo vendors: 5 to 7 days (the playbook above). Multi-shooter teams or 2 to 3 person studios: 10 to 14 days because of team training. Larger studios and venues with custom workflows: 2 to 4 weeks with our white-glove team. Migration is "complete" when you're routing new inquiries through Zennvue and have your full client database imported. Canceling the old platform happens later, on your timeline.
No. The client-facing experience improves: signed contracts and uploaded galleries stay accessible, payment portals work identically (Stripe Connect on both ends), and your couples actually get a free planning portal they didn't have before. The only "change" most clients notice is that proposals get sent faster because of AI drafting.
Our CSV importer works with any platform that exports client data, which is virtually all of them. Common platforms not in our top-13 list (Iris Works, Tave, Sprout Studio, Aisle Planner, Tripleseat) all export to CSV. Contact us if you need a specific platform's import help, we'll walk you through it.
No. Self-serve migration tools and chat support are free on every vendor plan. Phone support is included on Business ($119/mo) and above. White-glove migration with a dedicated project manager is included on Studio ($249/mo) and Enterprise ($749/mo) tiers. We never charge separate migration fees, setup fees, or onboarding fees.
Stripe Connect migrates seamlessly. You connect your existing Stripe account during Zennvue onboarding (90 seconds), and your payout schedule, tax info, and saved payment methods stay intact. Stripe processing fees stay at the standard 2.9% + 30¢. Zennvue does not add any platform fee on payments, on any plan.
