Create Your Account & Business Profile
~5 minutesHead to platform-zennvue.com and click "Get Started." Select Vendor as your role and enter your name, email, and password. Your 14-day free trial begins immediately — no credit card required.
- Go to Settings → Business Info and fill in your business name, category, timezone, and currency
- Upload your logo and set your brand colors in Settings → Branding
- Add your Instagram, Facebook, and other social links to your profile
- Upload 5–10 portfolio images that represent your best work
A complete profile with portfolio images gets 3x more marketplace inquiries than a bare-bones listing. Take 10 minutes here — it pays off immediately.
Connect Stripe for Client Payments
~5 minutesNavigate to Settings → Payments and click "Connect with Stripe." You'll be redirected to Stripe to create or connect your account via Stripe Connect. Once connected, clients can pay your invoices by card, bank transfer, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal — and funds are deposited directly into your Stripe account.
- Click "Connect with Stripe" in Settings → Payments
- Complete Stripe's identity verification (typically takes 2–3 minutes)
- Set your tax rate and any applicable sales tax jurisdictions in Settings → Tax & Billing
- Configure payment schedule defaults (deposit %, installment frequency)
When a client pays an invoice, funds route directly to your Stripe Connect account. Zennvue charges a 2.9% platform fee on payments processed through the marketplace. Payments processed outside the marketplace (e.g., direct invoices) use Stripe's standard processing rate.
Set Up Your Marketplace Listing
~10 minutesYour marketplace listing is your public storefront — it's how event planners and couples discover you. Navigate to Settings → Marketplace Listing to configure it.
- Write a compelling business bio (2–3 paragraphs about your style and experience)
- Set your starting price — be honest, this is how AI matching filters recommendations
- Define your service areas with radius (e.g., Dallas, TX with a 50-mile radius)
- Toggle your public booking page on in Settings → Booking Page
- Add a video showcase if you have a highlight reel
Vendors who complete all listing fields appear in 40% more AI-matched recommendations than incomplete profiles. The AI scoring engine considers profile completeness as a quality signal.
Configure Your Brand Voice AI Profile
~5 minutes · Business tier+Navigate to Settings → AI → Brand Voice. Upload 2–5 examples of your past client communications — emails, inquiry responses, or follow-up messages. Trunnion AI analyzes your tone, style, vocabulary, and personality and generates a reusable Brand Voice Profile that is automatically injected into every AI-generated proposal, contract, inquiry response, and follow-up it creates.
- Upload 2–5 sample emails or inquiry responses you've sent to past clients
- Click "Analyze Brand Voice" and review the generated profile
- Edit the profile if needed to refine tone descriptors
- Test it by generating a sample inquiry response from Settings → AI → Test
Without a Brand Voice Profile, AI-generated proposals sound generic. With it, every proposal sounds exactly like you — which is why vendors with Brand Voice configured close at a significantly higher rate than those without it.
Build Your First Automation Sequence
~10 minutes · Professional tier+Navigate to Automations in your sidebar. Zennvue's automation engine uses 6 event triggers and supports actions including sending emails, SMS, creating tasks, and updating client pipeline status. Start with the most impactful sequence first: the proposal-to-contract chain.
- Create Automation #1: TRIGGER: PROPOSAL_ACCEPTED → ACTION: Generate Contract with AI clauses
- Create Automation #2: TRIGGER: CONTRACT_SIGNED → ACTION: Generate Invoice + update client status to BOOKED
- Create Automation #3: TRIGGER: EVENT_COMPLETED → WAIT 3 days → ACTION: Send review request email
- Create Automation #4: TRIGGER: INVOICE_OVERDUE → ACTION: Send payment reminder SMS
These 4 automations eliminate the most time-consuming manual tasks for most vendors. Run them for 30 days before adding more complexity. The goal is replacing your most repetitive actions, not automating everything at once.
Add Your First Client & Send a Proposal
~5 minutesNavigate to CRM and click "Add Client." Enter the client's details and assign them to the INQUIRY stage of your pipeline. Then navigate to Proposals and click "New Proposal" — or use the AI generation button to have Trunnion AI draft a complete proposal in your brand voice.
- Create the client record in CRM with name, email, event type, and date
- Navigate to Proposals → New Proposal and link it to the client and event
- Click "Generate with AI" to get a complete draft in your brand voice with package recommendations
- Review and customize the proposal, then click Send
- The AI will score this lead 1–100 automatically — check the score in the CRM record
After creating a client, check their AI Lead Score (visible in the CRM sidebar). A score of 80+ means this lead should be your top priority. A score of 40–60 means follow up but don't over-invest. Below 40 means this lead may not convert — monitor without heavy effort.
